That’s probably a good thing. My first mile last year was 11:58 and I walked 4 times during it. And I’m now in the mid 6 minute range for an all out mile at 215lbs. So it takes awhile to build up. I think it’s good to mix it up with your exercise in general as it makes you more dynamic.

It was mostly a light jog lol. I was pushing Sadie up all the hills on her bike the whole time i was running. Run next to her on the downhills and push jog on the uphills. So i probably did more work than i should of. My shins are hurting today but not terrible. My left knee is throbbing. But thats the one that had surgery. Im gunna ride tonight, give mu shins a rest.

    Yes they do.

I’m willing to do just about anything on my hardtail and haven’t reached a point that it is holding me back yet. Would like some better brakes when the situation gets sketchy, but a bank or tree has always been able to stop me thus far.

@tweakit88 I was thinking about our ride last week. I took you up the steep stuff to get to the fun trails quicker and you didn’t get to do anything fun.

Nope, doubt it would of been fun on the wifes bike anyway lol. The steep stuff is whats killing me right now, but im hoping once i get my bike the gearing will help me out more. I really want to get on some fun downhill stuff.

yeah I know, I just know these trips are rare enough as is so I try and make sure everyone can go if possible. at least as many as possible.

I also am hesitant to go alone, not just because of injury/risk stuff, but because I have bad mental block that I'm trying to train out and it's much much easier with someone pressuring me lol. Hell even Andrew who had never been mountain biking talked me into doing that piddly little jump I did, I've bypassed it every single time I've ridden till he made me do it.

I just wish I didn’t have to turn Strava On beforehand, and that I could record the ride after lol. 12.73miles at gville yesterday in 1.5 hours according to my buddies strava.

Not being able to go to the gym twice a day as normal has got me all messed up. So we have just been putting in the miles.

Just hit 100 miles on the MTB during the quarantine. That number slowed down a lot when I started building my bumper and should pick back up after I finish it this week.

won’t see me doing any 10 mile runs though. You can have those all to yourself.
