Well I finally got them on! Here are the general specs:

TIRES: set of 5 Treadwright Warden at 285/75R16
WHEELS: set of 5 Summit Racing Series "D" opening 16X8 with 4.00" BS

Modification required: trimmed some plastic off the front bumper, removed inner fender lining in front, VERY small amount of hammer work on the pinch weld where the rear of the wheel opening is.

Contact with tire/wheel: Currently ZERO contact, even at full turn, and when lifted up by lift. MIGHT have some contact when front gets heavily compressed on the trails. But right now, No contact at all with body or frame! I am happy.

Billies on all four corners with daystar spacer lift. Bought it like this. Replacing done with toytec ultimate 3" lift
Sounds good to me. I'll have to go easy though. I don't think it's the front end, I think it's another wheel bearing going out. Also, I'll need to replace an axle seal before we go. That might be getting done this weekend.

You know I'm in, as long as we can get my seal and UCA bushings done before then.

So we are heading to The Slab up by Dave in Montevallo this coming up Sunday (The 3rd of October) Just wanting to verify a head count so that we have an idea of how many people. I expect us to be at The Slab somewhere around 8:30-9:00 am. Lets speak up if you are going!

Hey Jim... I mean Justin.....:brianr: lmfao.

Got a question for those with winches. I have been doing a ton of research and am trying to also remember the winches you all have mentioned. Right now I am looking at this one: http://www.autoanything.com/winches/69A4817A0A0.aspx of the Auto Anything website. With discounts and such I can get it, with synthetic line, and a winch cover for $404 shipped. What do you all think? I know it is an 8k winch, but a snatch block will double that easy enough if I need it.

lot of people on here run that winch and have great luck on second gens. so i say if that is enough for a second gen then its plenty for your first gen. just dont forget its advisable to tear down that winch and repack with a good synthetic grease before install. many different writeups on here about it.
