Welcome from Huntsville. Nice looking truck, and from the sounds of it sounds like its going to get better looking soon. As for opinions on tires, I have put BFG M/Ts on 4 different trucks and have never had a complaint about them.

2004 F-350...uh lots of motor work to go fast...er. Way to much to list. 2001: 3" leveling kit, ARB bumper, lightforce 240 blitz, 35" KM2s. SOLD 2008: OME 886s 90000 with dakars, LR UCAs, 5% tint, Satashi. SOLD 2015: Flooded and Gone
    correct
KM2s blow out the ass, they suck on road and are really only good for wheeling and some mud. the BFG A/T are a great tire but blow in the wet conditions, i have had all three sets on my 01 that MAC is talking about and the coopers are by far the best tire i have ran hands down amazing. great on road dry and wet and even better off road. i will be putting another set on my 08 when the time comes (jan).

    :D love hearing that!!! haha.

just get the coopers. won't be sorry one bit, they aren't loud either, which doesn't bother me being loud or quite. surprisingly light tire, easy to balance, great side wall, and they even look aggressive to me. what type lift are you putting one? please not a spacer, unless you don't do a lot of wheeling.

Welcome, I grew up around Inverness, Hoover and Chelsea myself but I'm living in Gulf Shores for now. I've run many sets of BFG A/T, too many to remember and always liked them. I spend the weekends in Dallas co. for 7 months out of the year give or take, that's a 6hr round trip on interstate/paved roads and the rest of the weekend it's all dirt county roads and logging roads and such. BFG A/T's always seemed to be a good balance for what I needed. Oh yea, has anyone here offered you any candy yet? If not, I have some!

I have always wanted to go with BFG M/T's because I've run BFG A/T's on my truck most of the time I have had her. I guess it's just a preference. I've never had a complaint either. Roll Tide! Def stuck on my tire selection.

I wanted a more beefy/agressive looking tire now, since I will have a little more room to work with. Most likely 285/75/16. The lift is a 3 and 1 suspension. I figure that will even it all out.

What are yall's thoughts on the Rough Country 2.5 front 1.5 rear suspension lift kit? Also, I've ordered some Cooper STT 285/75/16 's. Is that a good size tire for this type lift. I really don't want too much tire hanging out of the wheel wells. Thanks

if you haven't already bought it yet then look at billistiens and ebitechs or OME. i am rocking the spacer on my 01 and it is just slowly tearing the front end apart, so are running 35s. billies are the best way to level out the ride without messing up the front. i look and asked a lot of questions before buying the OME for my 08. spacers are okay for dd and light wheeling but in the long run they will start messing things up. and i think for around the same price billies are gonna do the same thing but out perform the spacer.

EDIT: that is a good tire size, i ran that size in the BFG A/Ts and rubbed some at full lock on frame. i ran 32" cooper stt with no rub nor coming close to it so you should be good, if anything minor trimming of the inner fender well plastic piece.

Billies on all four corners with daystar spacer lift. Bought it like this. Replacing done with toytec ultimate 3" lift
Rough country is gonna have a block for the rear and that is going to actually decrease the ride quality. Do what Gator said and go with the bilsteins and eibachs or OME. You won't regret it.

3 great places to start your search. I ended up buying my front OME setup from ToyTec and my OME leaf pack from Wheelers.

DSM is probably the best company on here when it comes to suspension. Unfortunately, they don't carry OME.

I got the 2 1/4 inch OME Drakar leafs and 5100 Bilsteins on the rear and Bilstein 5100's and the Eibach 620 lb coils for the front but I'm still running my leveling kit up front until I get the front done. Drakars came from Toytec for less than $500 to my door and the Eibach/Bilsteins were like $332 before shipping from Wheelers. I like dealing with Wheelers.
