Cool....Haven't ordered yet. You wouldn't to have a price on the billistiens and eibachs would you? What would be the most cost effective kit for my truck? Thanks a lot!!

Low cost lifts are bad man. They will destroy your truck. Just save for a little while and buy a quality lift.

All depends on your budget. You can spend anywhere from $500 to $20,000 on a lift.

If you're looking for the cheapest lift that won't hurt your truck, check out the Bilstein 5100's. They work with your stock front springs or aftermarket springs, depending on what you want to spend. You can simply go with an AAL in the rear, until you're ready to fork over the money for a new leafpack.

Anything over 3" will either have a drop bracket or a body lift with a suspension lift. You don't want either one.

A true 3" suspension lift with new UCA's is what most of the guys on here run.

We can give you any detail of any lift available for these trucks, but in the end it's whatever you decide man.

One rule for a lift is this. Keep the lift as low as possible to get the tire size that you want to run. The lowest part on the truck is the differential, no matter what size lift you put on, the only way to raise the diff is to put bigger tires on the vehicle. Using this rule keeps your center of gravity lower and provides the most down travel available for the suspension.

There are caveats to this. A higher suspension lift gives you better approach, departure and breakover angles. You can generally get a lot better approach and departure angle by changing to offroad bumpers. Bigger tires and larger suspension lifts are the only way to improve breakover angles. I am the only DCLB in the group that normally offroads and guess where my problem is...breakover and I am still only running a 2" lift for now.

I can adjust this 3.5 to 3 correct? I have anywhere from $700-1300 in my budget for lift.

Great info! Thanks man! Tire size is 285/75/16 Cooper Stt's. Still sort of new to mods. But is the reason I bought this truck back in 2001

I appreciate the help. I think I would have pulled my hair out without having this forum to bounce ideas off of....I have a vision in my head of what I'd like my truck to look like. Just want to get there best way possible.

Fabtech is not the best of brands, some people like them, but you won't see many on here. Their lifts tend to be more for looks than utility.

A full OME setup is within your budget. OME is pretty much the best without getting into Mid travel setups and coilover systems.

This is my bumper...This is the rig that got me started looking more into pulling the trigger on mods. I'm sure you've all seen this truck before. This is the look I have in mind.

I truthfully have not seen that pic before. I see tons of Tacomas that look like that.

I do see an ARB front bumper and an ARB Safari Snorkel. What appears to be a 3" suspension lift, The tires look like 265's, bed rack, and a expedition tent, sliders, and a swing out tire gate/bumper.

I am willing to bet that since that truck is a company sponsored truck and has an arb bumper arb snorkel and what appears to be an arb RTT, it probably has the arb OME suspension under it... could be wrong though??? but I would think if you are sponsored for something and advertising a truck you would advertise the products you sell.

2004 F-350...uh lots of motor work to go fast...er. Way to much to list. 2001: 3" leveling kit, ARB bumper, lightforce 240 blitz, 35" KM2s. SOLD 2008: OME 886s 90000 with dakars, LR UCAs, 5% tint, Satashi. SOLD 2015: Flooded and Gone
That isn't an arb bumper on the pic above.... The corner approach angles are thinner and also look at the grill hoop.... The section protecting the lights is smaller than the section protecting the grill it's self. Also, the dual fog lights on the side pieces are not optional with that year model....
