Anyone looking to buy some 2nd gen O/R rims? The chipping in them is the paint. Only one rim has actual Knicks in the rim. $300 Obo.

Not sure yet. It takes a little time. Was waiting to hear from Brian on if he wanted to take on the Saturday at his place, and I will work on the Saturday evening and Sunday at Stoney. Also waiting to hear input from the people here. I had asked what everyone thought about those dates to see who all could attend. Haven't seen anyone post on here yet if they can or can't make those dates.

I hate to say it but I think the alabama group is all but dead and gone. have a couple that still post from time to time, but the last 3 times i have tried to get rides together it ends up being me and brian alone and then everyone bitching a week later about we never do any rides.

There is no way I can do anything on February 29th, at least for another 2 years, then I can do something then.

If we are going to try to join the Dixieland Cruiser group, that would be the 21st-23rd.

So it would be the meet/greet/mod on the 22nd and riding on the 23rd.

Hey Alex, My sister just showed this to me. With you working on another VTOL, I figure you would get the most kick out of this one. It is an f-35 JSFT on a carrier vertical take off. If you watch closely you can see where it looks like the afterburners kicked in while still in VTOL.

Hey guys, just want to throw out, most of our wheeling will be on Saturday (2/22). We'll be camping Fri and Sat nights, and most folks will probably wheel a little on sunday morning and then head out. If you're coming to wheel, highly recommend coming on Saturday. If you're coming to hang out (which is perfectly fine too) I'd say sat night is probably the best time.

Paul, if you bring the Jeep, I don't think your skin will burn too bad. You oughta come down.

That is an option there. We have learned already that at Stoney, too many trucks at one time is bad for the trails. So that would actually be perfect for us. We would have our usual meet at Brian's on Saturday, then Saturday afternoon/evening those who want to wheel can follow me down to Stoney and we can camp out and meet you all. you know, just chill and BS for the night, Then Sunday when you all head out, we will hit the trails with our group. Like I said, we have learned the hard way that usually anything more than 5 or 6 trucks and things get packed up and boring at Stoney. But this way we could hang out and chill Saturday evening. They have some pretty decent primitive and trailer sites there.

I know! As soon as I saw it I knew you would love it. There is a whole story behind it and the basics are that the flight controls were still in vertical vectoring, but the software glitched and the afterburners kicked in, flipping him. The pilot was BAD ASS in getting his vertical changed to horizontal flight and recovering from that. Manufacturer techs came and inspected it afterwards and determined that it was a "software glitch" that shouldn't have happened. DUH! I can just imagine the thoughts going through the mind of the pilot, the flight deck hands, and the people watching from flight ops!

You are more than welcome to come out of course. We are always happy to welcome new members. I think we are ready to start securing who can and can't make it.

So if we are looking at the dates of 22nd and 23rd, who wants to attend these events? Please cut and paste, while adding your name. If you CAN'T attend a certain date, then feel free to speak up. This is NOT locked in stone here. We do want a date that most everyone can attend at least one day. If you CAN'T attend either date, speak up. If enough can't make it, we will look at a different date.

Stoney Lonesome. We're camping fri night 2/21 and sat night 2/22, wheeling sat and sun.

Yeah, we'll make sure that folks split in small groups. Definitely don't want to get backed up with lots of trucks like last time.
