    apparently the crossmember is different...the crossmember bolt would have to be cut off and the pinch weld as well.... i'm not down to cut this truck up. i pm'd 01tacoma and we are gonna get me some built. i'm gonna draw them up and once he gets his shop re-done then we will start. but i have to sell the sliders first to get the money.

    You have to trim the pinch weld on almost all sliders. I still don't understand the whole thing about the cross member, I didn't think there was any bolts around there. Not only that but all pro uses a frame reinforcing plate that runs the entire length of the frame that the sliders cover and they are universal for all second gens. What kind did you purchase if you don't mind me asking?

    She purchased trail gear. I'm just gonna sell them or see if they fit the 01. 01tacoma is gonna make me some. I don't want to do any cutting on the truck, even the pinch weld. The only cutting will be the cab mount for bigger tires.

    the wet okoles are if the amount of people join the GB is reached and is also not me paying for them. the only way i will be getting sliders that FIT is if and when i sell these. i did not pay for this as they were christmas present. thank you for bringing this up so i can clear it all up for you.
