I actually have a jeep now. Imagine that.
You sure do talk a lot of shit about offroading even though you never do anything interesting. Do you really think he finds it necessary to post pictures for proof? I don't think he would be asking about advice for no reason. Notice how everyone else has offered positive comments? Maybe you should follow their lead and if you don't have anything productive to say, quit wasting space in here.

And for justin's defense, he followed the same route as me but a rock moved underneath him. I almost gave up on it because I was being a stubborn dumbass and taking the wrong route. He just got unlucky on that one.

Thank you Paul. And to Matt, I did make it, even with a bruised driveshaft. Not that it matters, but just saying. I was doing just fine on making it until that rock decided to move and sit me down on the xfer case skid and driveshaft along with sliding me in to some trees. And when things stopped moving I made the rest of the climb.

I had a rock move on me one time when I was wheeling in Texas. Damn thing was under my right front tire and broke loose as I was climbing up. It slipped under the truck and smashed my transfer case open. I would have LOVED to only bust a shaft. Your skid saved you some headache I bet!

I finished the movie editing and all. It is about 30 minutes old, but when I went to upload it, YouTube said it would take 26 hours!!:eek::eek: So I think tomorrow I will pair it down from the 1080P resolution so that I can upload it faster.

Paul, must I quote myself? If you go back one page, you will see that I was the FIRST one to offer a business that might help. Might I also say that this past weekend was the second time I took MY, yes, MY vehicle in the woods and pushed it harder that I did last time. I went through ALMOST every mudhole that everyone did and came out WITHOUT any assistance. I dropped my 4Runner in a hole that Dave went through and you could literally walk across the roof of his truck to the other side when you hit the bottom. I also need to add that I came out of that hole when everybody was expecting me to get stuck in it. Alex even had his truck turned around and winch cable out and ready to hook up but I came out of that hole WITHOUT assistance. I might also add that when we had that meet in Huntsville and met at kyles house, we went through a creek bed with boulders and I followed you and Kyle in and out without anyone hooking up to me. I take my DD in the woods and drive it to work on Monday. You continue taking your jeep and drive your Hyundai to work.

Justin, I am sorry for what happened. Your right, I wasn't there so idk what happened or how it happened. I was just yanking your chain. Apparently the smilies don't show the sarcasm like you would think. I guess I need to start adding the word sarcasm in parenthesis at the bottom of my sarcastic posts.

Paul, might I add one more thing. I have spacers as a lift and am on street tires. Half the time I went riding this past weekend I didn't even lock the center diff to get the 50/50 power instead of the 60/40 AWD that I have. So get your facts straight before you call someone out.

I don't talk crap because I have been there and done that. I bought that blue toyota and could never get it running right to enjoy it so I know the frustration when you have a perfectly running truck and a vital part breaks.

Now that I have a go pro, I understand why people struggle with anything longer than 15 minutes. Holy shit those files are enormous.

Exactly! To have good quality, it can bring a solid machine to its knees.

Have you guys thought about uploading to vimeo? Pretty much everyone into multirotor filming uses that. It seems a little less congested and I find it loads way faster.

Yep! I had almost 2 hours of footage to upload. That took almost 20 minutes. Then I spent about 3 hours working on editing. Finally compiled the video. My machine I guess is pretty good. It was capable of compiling a 32 minute video at 1080P resolution in right around 40 minutes. I think that is pretty decent. I was even online yacking on here while it compiled! lol.

Now the upload is the killer. Since I have a commercial YouTube account I can upload videos as long as 2 hours. But a 32 minute 1080P video shows 25+ hours of upload time! I can't have things uploading during the day when my sister is working. It taxes her internet connection too much. I may have to split it after all and make 2 shorter clips.
