BTW, for those curious, Yes, I already have 4 LED bars on the truck. These will be for the trailer, and the awning I have on order. LED bars draw so little current that they are great for lighting up camping areas. I am curious about one thing though. Being an LED, and not a standard light bulb, is there any difference to how bugs react to them at a camp site? Maybe getting a red lens? Just a thought anyway.

Any word on the harness connectors or other LED accessories available?

I dont think there will be any accessories available, just lights. i am not going to press any issue about asking for more because paul will be doing every bit of this with zero profit on his end. not even to compensate for time or handling. so i am just going to be thankful that he is willing to at least offer the lights and not press my luck. we all know others that would not be so kind as to not make some kind of money off fellow AL members.

I actually have a jeep now. Imagine that.
yes, they have wiring harnesses for each light. Its nice to have the wiring all done but I will warn you, you are probably going to at least want to change out the switch.

Hey Paul. Put me down for a 40" light bar and a harness if it doesn't come with!

Wasn't sure. That is why I asked.

Thanks Paul. If it isn't stupid expensive, add a harness to each light. Thanks for doing this man!

    Hey Jim!

I was looking at the SS Braided Brake line thread and noticed that you had initially signed up for it. Did you actually get a set? Did you like them?

    HI!

The lines themselves were of perfectly good quality, and a good price, so I'd get them again.

That being said, don't waste your money thinking it's an "upgrade". Yes, yes, it's supposed to make your pedal firmer. It will not. Rather, it might, if you get them hot like you would on a race track, but I suspect you're not planning to do that with your taco.

People think that stainless is stronger than rubber. I've discovered since I did that that yer brake lines ain't rubber, they have a very strong inner nylon core that resists bulging quite well, the rubber is just the outer coating. Stainless is fine, but it's actually more susceptible to damage by rubbing on your suspension, believe it or not, and the difference in flex in the line esp when cold is nearly non-existant, so going to stainless isn't an upgrade. Most of the folks who "see a difference" really just have fresh brake fluid, which is a helluva lot easier and cheaper of a mod.

Forgot to add: the reason stainless is prevalent aftermarket and among racing teams, etc, is that it's a lot easier to bend and cut and fit in a shop. Also why after the initial introduction when it was popular ergo more expensive, you can generally get SS lines a little cheaper these days than OEM replacement. Also, the ease of working with it makes it popular for things like that group buy making custom length lines.

So in summary, I was happy with the lines but I wouldn't do it for the hell of it. That being said, after my lift my back lines were really tight at full droop, so if I did it all over again, I'd get the back 2 lines from the GB 3" longer than stock again, and leave the fronts alone, which have plenty of slack even at full droop.

tl;dr: Go buy new back lines if you need it for your lift, otherwise don't bother. :)

    Paul,
Please add my name to the list for a 41.5" spot/flood with the harness. Let me know if I need to take any other actions.
