I will have to wait and see how things look after I get back from vacation if you still have it.

As for the Stoney run, I still plan to go, I just may be forced to come up and ride with another truck and just take pictures. I don't know if I will be able to get the gears installed by Saturday. Shop is swamped.

I am going to have to bow out for this weekend. Not sure where exactly I will be. I just found out my youngest daughter's boyfriend just beat her and put her in the hospital. Prayers for her please.

Thanks Jeff. I appreciate it. Right now still not 100% sure on everything. From what I am hearing she is going to press charges. That I am glad for at least. It is taking every fibre of my being to not drive out there before my vacation next weekend.

I hope and pray she sticks to pressing charges. He needs to pay. No true man would ever hit a woman. Stay strong and keep you wits. Hang in there.

First and foremost, Bill, I am terribly sorry to hear about your daughter. There is a special place for people like that guy. Praying for you and your family during this tough time.

Secondly, I know I have been missing lately but it's been for good reason I promise. I have officially bought my first HOUSE!! I have been more than stress and busy as hell the past couple of months so all my focus has been on the house. So after I get all moved in I along with anyone else that needs it will have a new place to work on vehicles. I will have a 2 car garage to play in. So anyway, now that this is all getting behind me, Brian, I will be getting in touch with you soon about that grill! Hope everyone is doing well and look forward to getting together at some meets or meeting up at a garage. Take care and Roll Tide!

I am trying. It is a difficult thing to stay calm.

Thank you. And congrats on the house. You will enjoy it I know.

Thanks, I do appreciate all the kind words from everyone. At first last night they thought she might have a fractured cheek bone, but the CT scan shows that is not the case. Last I heard was that she was heading from the hospital to her ex-stepmom's place.

Can I get an address of her BF? You can PM it to me so that only I show up instead of 10 TW guys. As my dad says, "I'm a Christian and believe in turning the other cheek, but son, every now and then a man needs his butt whooped." Let me at him Bill!

Hope your daughter gets to feeling better. How old are they? Probably younger, as there are not many men left in our society.

I mean what happened to respect and hard work? I mean how many "men" rely on others for their every need? God intended for us to make our own way, to separate from our parents (aka not suck their 401k dry by them giving you everything), marry a WOMAN, and provide for our family at whatever means necessary. You got a fever? Suck it up and go to work cause your wife needs food on the table. If you get aggravated at your wife, don't beat her, go plow the field or bush-hog. There's always work to be done and sometimes it takes sacrificing what you wanna do to do what needs to be done. Be committed to God, your wife, and your job. Don't be some sissy la la that has to beat a woman to make himself feel better. If he wants to beat somebody, send him my way. I don't have callused hands with scars on every knuckle from playing Xbox, I'll kick his ass.

Okay stepping off my soap box. Can't tell you how many times I got in fights in high school for disrespect to women.

I appreciate the thoughts. Not going to send out the address though, or his name. It would come back and cause me problems. Not that he isn't due a good whooping. I know my daughter is 20. I don't know how old he is. However I do hear he is connected with some prominent criminal aspects.

I'm sorry to hear that bill! I'm with Drew on this one! There is no reason a man should put his hands on a woman. My prayers go out to y'all and that everything is handled legally and he is put away for a good amount of time!

Drew, is there anything closer to Birmingham that we can do that is different from stoney

A plague on this guy and hope your daughter gets better. Just one thing from experience, do not let her go back to this guy no matter how much he insists he will never do it again. Hopefully she called the cops and charged him with a domestic violence charge and he goes to court and gets his weapons confiscated if he has any. Just DO NOT let her think that he won't do it again, he will.

Had a good time wheeling at Morris Mountain with Matthew today! Nice to put a face to a name..... and apparently we look alike! At least that's what my GF and wife said soon as we met. I hope I don't look like that ugly SOB :D

I was very impressed by the ATRAC system on that 4runner! And today also reminded me that I need gears so badly. They'll be on order shortly along with a locker :)

    Dang man! We're sorry!

Nobody confirmed they were going when we asked the last time so we assumed everyone backed out.. So we just kinda made plans of our own.

I won't be going to Stoney tomorrow. Something told me we should have stuck with Stoney today but I had a blast. Will get the pictures and videos emailed to myself to get them on the computer and edited. Hopefully I will have time tomorrow to do that. Drew, I'm stealing your truck one day!!!

Oh, drew, there is a new park. It's called beaver creek and it's in Odell city. I'm thinking of hitting it next weekend when my brother comes down. Just to scout it out and see what it's all about. If it's all mud, we might leave and go to Stoney.
