Who's in the AU area that wants to wheel? I've had the urge all week at work and I can't stand it.

    (that's what she said)

Well now that the truck is pretty much finished, I will be ready to wheel her again soon. I am putting 500 miles on the new engine and clutch before I really play her hard though. So it won't be long.

He's been through the local trails with me and did wonderful. When he was younger, about 6-15 weeks, I took him to the weekend long rockcrawl at the GAP and he camped with us and did great then. I'll be taking him to the GAP this coming weekend for the first time since he was a puppy.

haha, they aren't a fan of the bouncing around. If I ever take them wheeling I usually just let them take off running. Not sure what a park would think about that.

P.S. I love that when this thread is on the home page, its a picture of my jeep when I submarined it haha

So for the july 28th weekend, are we planning on it being a camping weekend? Theres a good chance I won't be able to make it on the 28th due to a wedding. I'll see if I can make it sunday, but if there isn't going to be much wheeling on sunday I might pass. Post up what your plans are!

I can't make the July meet. Looks like my truck will get very light use this summer.

Gah. I want one trip without fixing something afterwards. And I know the next thing to break will be driveline.

I've seen plenty of XJs get beat and not break anything, but i'm an optimist. A driveshaft maybe. Do you have an SYE yet?

Sitting in the living room. Need to get that driveshaft from kyles friend, and once I get the SYE installed, I gotta take some measurements and get the right axle shims. Once that's done, I won't be worried about messing up u-joints and possible pinions and pinion bearings. Got a little hum/whirring in the rear diff area right now.
