I actually have a jeep now. Imagine that.
All that GAP has to offer is a MILDY entertaining perimeter trail and rock crawling, even if they have a few mild rock paths, its not group friendly. Don't get me wrong, I enjoyed hanging out there every time I went, but it was because either I had my jeep, or I could do the trails in my 2wd truck and knew people with "crawlers". To be honest though, I almost hit a guy and his YOUNG daughter on their 4 wheeler on the main road because he was drunk. I don't want to be in that situation again. I had to run off the road to avoid him and he almost flipped it. He stopped and thanked me for paying attention cause he couldn't.

Seriously though, she couldn't have been over 5 years old and if I had hit them, I would have been liable because of the waver I signed. I can't legally or morally risk that again.

Kurt, I think you should come up here this weekend! Even though I drove your new car before you, I still wanna see it!

You haven't been out there since they've renovated.. POLICE everywhere. Drug dogs and all. Further more, they've tracked over the rocks and now it's a lot more friendly for stock-toy rigs. But I COMPLETELY understand where you're coming from and I very seldom attend anymore. The last time I was out there was to test out Hudson's new LandCruiser and watch a few JKs break shit. And there's a BAJA race in town this weekend that I plan to attend.

Like baja sae? I hated being on that team (used to be under poor management). Fucking uber capable buggy with a 10hp B&S motor. The year I was on it we won the natl championship. Felt like we didn't deserve it though.

My vote is Stoney, rain or shine. We will want to carry a strap with us thou. If it is good, we run it again next weekend or try something different so Justin can get in on it. My brother is going to ride with me, but I can fit 2 more if someone wants to tag along. Depending on who else goes, there may be an open front seat available once we get there.

I'll have three seats open, and I'll volunteer to lead, as long as someone takes me home if I break.
