I actually have a jeep now. Imagine that.
Never trust Brian when he says go left and water is involved.

Well, apparently I'm an idiot and didn't know how to operate my 4 wheel drive system. I was wondering why those lights were blinking. Anyway, I never got into 4 low and because of that my rear locker never engaged. I was in 4hi or 2wdr the whole time. I bet I would have gotten through the creek had I been been paying attention and not such a noob.

Such a shameful trip.... Oh well I learned a little.

I think you would do ok if they didn't cross the creek and keep your momentum going up some of the hills.

if you learned something that will help you be better next time and didnt tear anything major up on your truck, then it is never a "shameful trip". But instead it is a "learning experience".

Just remember we have 2 Travis's now.

I pulled Travis once at the creek and Mat once from a breakover.

Parker, are you locked? I know that first place we played, a 1 wheel wonder wouldn't have any fun. Aside from that, the creek crossing going the direction we did would be hell. I might have my passenger seat open. If not, the back seat is always available.

Just wait and see what happens when I suggest right!

You may have figured it out by now, but you'll need to be in neutral to change from 4Hi to 4Lo. This is because the transfer case needs to have no gear tension on it for it to change.

Opposite is true for the locker, if it doesn't engage at first, rolling some forward or backwards will help it engage. Emphasis on rolling. Don't do it if you're one wheeling and a tire is spinning. That will kaboom something.

I agree with Justin though. No shame in learning something. At least it wasn't an expensive learn-the-hard-way situation. :)
