That sucks! I guess something went down and the city didn't like it to much. There will be other ways to get into there. It's too big of a place for it not. I can go look at the Leeds side and find that other entrance that I ran into after all of ya'll left on the first ride you took to markita.

 

oh but you can get in from trussville MUAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA *cough*HAHAHAHAHA *cough* HAHA. its a muddy kinda trail but it goes back there.

If it was closed, and I lived that far, I would drive around until I found something close.... Hell get on the railroad track and ride it until you come to it. Those tracks we crossed in Leeds go right through Markita!!!

i don't think alex will be going either. He needs, so he says, wheel bearings on the front and upper and lower ball joints! Idk though. he might and if he does, there isn't room for the wife and kids to go. we will see though. I have a new ECU coming in soon.

 

Rent a timing light from the auto parts store?

gonna try, but it depends if i can move my legs then.... helping a buddy sheetrock his entire house and after this saturday pulling 16hrs on it i could barely move sunday. (im not as young as i thought i was)

 

Lol, understandable man. I get reminded of the same constantly.

 

the working isnt what got me, it was the bending down and standing up every 30 seconds to cut sheets of drywall. old rebuilt/patched knees cant hold up to that very well.

you gonna ride sunday? will you have your truck up by then?

I'm trying! lol. Right at this exact moment the rear axle has been completely reassembled and we will be replacing those brake shoes today. The front turn signal lenses have been installed, but the right one looks like the connector has been cut off. (maybe get one at a junk yard?) The new Warn manual hubs are installed and the tail lights have been installed. Right now I have to finish the wiring for the tail lights, finish the exhaust, and install the tires. The new door handles haven't been installed yet, but I figure they aren't needed for you taking the truck out on a trip.

 

two questions.... you say install the tires and finish the exhaust..... you mount balance tires? also do you bend and weld exhaust down there? if so these are things i wish i would have known before now.......
