:annoyed::annoyed::annoyed: Today is dragging by! I'm so ready to see my 4Runner tomorrow to see if I can see a significant difference. On the flip side of that, if I do in fact see a significant difference, my tire order may come before my slider and bumper order. And if that happens, that's gonna make me wanna go riding somewhere. Why cant I just buy a car and keep it stock and be happy!??!!?

I park my truck next to my deck and that makes the roof almost level with the rails of the deck. Then slide it onto the truck lol!

that's genius if I had that option! It's probably just going to be a pain in the ass until I get a taller shop built with a hoist.

Man all this wedding drama, I proposed and two or three weeks later we were getting married in my parents yard. Spent a grand total of $1000.

I would just leave it on the truck during the fall/spring camping season around here.

that's possible, and living closer to work as of basically tomorrow it will probably stay on for this spring season since we have so many events/trips planned.

How much do the rtts weigh, and how easy/hard are they to remove?

I have the smallest one CVT makes and I can't lift it over my head alone. I can put it on my truck myself using the above trick but if it was any bigger that wouldn't work.

I can only speak for mine. It's just over 200 lbs. It took me and a friend (granted we both work out every day) to put it on the truck pressing it overhead and walking down the sides of the truck. Mounting the tent this first time was a PAIN IN THE ASS, but from here on I plan to just remove the 2 Prinsu crossbars I mounted it to as my arms are too large to slide between the rack and the camper shell. It's way too heavy for me to do anything with it by myself..

and let me add, setup is easy. it really does just fold out and go. teardown is a different story. tucking the tent in and making it fit well enough to tighten everything down is a bit of a pain, but I may not know the tricks yet.

Bros, me and my lady gonna get some QALO rings, skip on down to the courthouse, sign some papers, and it'll be like nothing changed. Except I'm gonna have to get used to playing the guitar with a ring on. Haha

You'll get better at it. Plus I think the fabric breaks down a little bit and becomes easier to put away. I got fold mine up in under 10 minutes now.

I'm thinking that's definitely going to be true. Plus, I will probably take the rain guard off of it next time I have it opened to make it easier to fold up.

Damn 200lbs, that's more then my topper. Can you leave your sleeping bags when you break it all down?

I hardly even wear my ring, safety and all that, the wife doesn't care but I've been planning on getting a tattoo.

    Nice!

I've been contemplating getting one but my wife wasn't interested till she saw one on our last trip. My dilemma is dogs and having to break it all down whenever you leave camp. But being able to leave the bags and not have to roll the damn things up would be nice, especially hung over.
