I don't want my antenna up front, with the radio antenna it looks goofy to me. I enjoy my ditch lights.

 

I might run out there today.

I don't like the tailgate option. If I loose the shell and get a bed rack it will go on a corner gusset mount.

But I like the front mount better

not the time I went, but that's where @BarberRider hydro-locked his truck.

 

The dealership has turned into the gift that keeps on giving, after originally informing me that the lugs from my 2016 Sport OEM wheels would fit on the faux beadlock wheels from the FJ they just called and stated they aren't a match and wont work. They are trying to find some lugs locally and calling me with a price on them, but it appears I may not be getting wheels and tires mounted today in addition to not getting the lift installed. Lovely.

 

Not gonna say I told you so, because I didn't, but just more reason not to use the dealership for stuff.

 

Yeah, lesson learned.

 

All lakeshore is, is about 1/2 miles of ruts from full size to 1 ton trucks with big mud tires making a mess. I've only been out there once to save him, and I won't go out there again. I mean by all means check it out but it's pretty much the local mud hole for all the big drop bracket Chevy and fords with 35"+ mud tires.

 

The slab is a much better place to go.

 

What kind to you need? When I bought my fj rims the guy gave me like 5 sets of different factory lugs.

i bought the relentless Antenna bracket for the passenger side. With the snorkel there and i went to the smaller TRD pro rubber shorty antenna for my radio in the first place. Most dont even notice the antenna. But mine is not a CB antenna. I run that Ham setup. And ji am still running that icon deal!!!

 

I'm playing less and less but it really helps sometimes. I have crazy hours. It gives me something to do when I get home from work at 2am wide awake or 4a, 7a, 2p, 7p. You get the idea. I don't know if I'll be asleep in the afternoon or at work. Just nice to throw a game on and forget about work for 30 minutes or so

 

I know you aint playing Battlefield for just 30 minutes. LOL that damn game takes that long to load you into a game!

I go do something in the garage. Whether it is clean trash out of the truck... Or research the best type of switches for stuff or look into improving my truck in some slight way that i have noticed. I am OCD about my truck and even the slightest little rattle or tick gets to me until i can indentify it and fix it
