    On the 2nd gens, the speedo was clocked a little slow, so 265/70/R17's were right on. 285's will be just a little fast, but not a lot.

    Yeah I clocked my truck currently with a gps and it is dead on. I'll only be doing five over if the speedo says 70 though so

    The great part of slightly fast odometer is my wife can check my speed and it looks like I'm just a little over when I am really a little more over.

    Plus if the speedometer is 5 mph slow that would make the truck seem to have less miles at resale

    Compression spring rate or whatever. You compress them on the 5100s and there's no more travel left in them, meaning you might as we have a piece of 3" sch 40 pipe as your coil. Rides like dog shit.

    It's got a cop motor, a 440-cubic-inch plant. It's got cop tires, cop suspension, cop shocks. It's a model made before catalytic converters so it'll run good on regular gas.
    Have any of you devised a secure place for a pistol? I'd really like to permanently mount a Serpa or other retention holster under the seat.

    I wanted a temporary seat cover so I picked up a Browning tactical seat cover. After installing it I really like all the pockets and especially the one in the front between the legs, made for a handgun and is very quick to get to. It hides the weapon out of site when not in truck. Just a thought....

    yeah, mines always at 1:00 if I'm not in the shower, but I mean you could put that same set-up under the steering column or further back like between the console and seat where it would hide better
