I don't want a bunch of dead chipmunks, because I don't want my dogs bringing them to me. I just want them out of my yard.

F THAT. I'd rather have chipmunks. I am not a cat fan, nor do I want another pet.

simple then, get the cat, let him get rid of the chipmunks, then let you dogs get rid of the cat, and you're done.

I have a feeling the order would be this instead:

get cat -> dogs kill cat or cat flees -> chipmunks still run rampant

I could almost like a cat if they met ALL of this criteria:

    1. They didn't shed non-stop. (I hate my dog sheds and I won't own another one that sheds this badly)
    2. They didn't have claws on their front paws. (I'm not declawing a cat)
    3. Their shit didn't stink up the whole house in a litter box, or could be trained like a dog to only go outside.
    4. They acted happy to see you at least once a year.
    5. The most disgusting and important, they didn't walk around with their nasty pink assholes showing all the time and flaunting it with their tail up. Stupid cat put that away.

If you have a indoor cat then that applies, but outside cats shed outside and do their business outside. Mine come into basement where a litterbox is only during cold weather.

One thing about cat they train themselves with the litterbox unlike dogs that you have to treat like a child, waking up in the middle of the night etc...

I would agree the training aspect is much more appealing for a cat, but that being said it took only 1 incident with my dog I trained and that was it. So it was easy and worth it to me. Back to my comment about shit in your nose to Cannon earlier,i if you rub your dogs nose in their own shit/piss trust me...they won't do it again.

you must have some very different dogs than most of ones i know, rubbing their nose in it never stopped one of mine, and they were very smart breeds, just stubborn..
