You can add me to that list also. I'm the last person you have to worry about that from.

So, what are we thinking about a central Alabama meet? Should we start a poll to see where to have it?

gah, i won't need any more stickers. the three I have now are taking up a ton of window space. These trucks have tiny back windows.

If we do Travis' land, it will be minor offloading down dirt roads. If wr do the wildlife reserve, it will be more like an off-road expedition. Im cool with either one, but the idea of an actual challenge just gets me excited.

I plan on going out there the first chance I get to take pictures and some video. I think that will sway people in that direction. It is an awesome place to wheel.

travis said there is more to do out there than we saw. I'm sure he wanted to keep it 2wd friendly since everyone that went was 2wd at the time.

Repair shop has me by the balls time wise. They dont have to rush to get anything done now and they are taking advantage of it. This whole thing should have been absolved two weeks ago.

Found a few video's on youtube. You can go around 90% of the mud BTW. It's the trails that i'd like to do the most.

The Slab is a Huge offroad area. If you look at the picture below, the "Old Slab" is in the center of the picture. You can tell where the two roads meet at the river. If you follow the river to the left, you will see where the dirt road goes into the river. This part is called "The Shoals". It as a rocky part of the river that you can drive across. There are 3,577 acres of trails, hills, ruts and rocks. The river you see is the Cahaba River.

hell dave i didnt know you were talking about the slab!!!!! i used to go there all the time and have a guy i work with that still goes quite frequently. he said you just have some areas you have to "avoid" because "the people with shaved heads that live in old school busses have fully auto weapons and arent afraid to use them" but he also said you have plenty of warning long before you get to them so plenty of time to turn around. i know it was always a blast when i went.

I've been out there a hundred times and have never seen any of those lol. But yes, The Slab is only 5 miles from my apartment. Would love to get everyone together for a meet there.

Like i said earlier though, I'm all for whatever the majority decides.

2010 silver double cab. base model. (he did but trd offroad stickers on it for the look). He bought it with like 6k miles from a little old lady. step ups are just the little U shaped ones not the full step bars. Think hes looking for like 25k starting price? think it blue booked for like 26 in fair condition and its really in great condition so blue book on it is really like 29.
