    That auburn copied that logo? It is. The earliest history of that logo is that it was designed by a graduate from Alabama that moved to Louisiana and designed that logo for lsu. It is known as Sailor Mike by LSU. If you can find an earlier history on it let me know.

    Never mind I see a link about it. It wasn't used to represent a football team until lsu it would appear. It also was originally drawn as a Bengal tiger (lsu still). So I'm going to go with lsu having it and then auburn copying. Lol
