Alabama thread!

Ive never gotten the shot nor the flu. But when it comes to my dog, I will do whatever it takes to make sure my boy is taken care of. Luckily, my vet knows how important pets are and doesn't use that as an excuse to charge out the ass!

 

Flu shots don’t work, the only time I’ve gotten the flu is when I’ve had them.

 

what vet do you go to? I don't feel mine is too expensive, and the vet himself is borderline crazy the way he treats the dogs lol. They are literally like human children when he talks to them and does whatever, its amazing. I go to Pennington btw.

 

I am under the opinion flu shots don't work because everyone doesn't get them. "Oh I've never had the shot I've never gotten the flu" ok great for you, but you're STILL A CARRIER of the flu. idk all the facts or whatever behind it, but it's free and I've never had the flu so I get it.

 

I go to Phillips Small Animal Clinic in Scottsboro.

 

I don’t get it because it doesn’t make a difference. I even talked to my biology teacher about this in high school, she has a PhD in biology (private school teachers...) and she recommended not getting one

 

they all say different things. I've worked in a pharmacy and with pharmacists and they all recommend it (no it doesn't benefit them financially if we get it) and they have PhDs in medicine or whatever lol. you can argue either side all you want.

 

I’m just gonna stick to not getting the shot

 

you do you bb. all I'm saying is this:

me: flu shot every year of my life. no flu ever.
you: never gets flu shot except once. has had flu.

the statistics between us point to flu shot every year lol

 

Had the shot once and the nose thing like 6 times. The nose thing actually worked better IMO

 

I'm a fan of the ole saying "If it aint broke, don't fix it"

same for me, I ain't broke getting the shot so I'm gonna keep getting it lol

 

They spray some stuff in your nose and you have to inhale it
