Kyle saw a pic of your truck at the Speakerbox meet this past weekend. You must of shown up after I left cuz I didn't notice the big red machine roll in. It was a crazy turnout with 400+ cars/trucks with a few exotics thrown in there.

i understand but that doesnt really fit the criteria. im wanting something less aggressive. that way we we take the truck on family trips it doesnt keep the baby awake (by "it" i mean my wifes complaining about the tire whining) (if you ever tell her i said that i will totally deny it and tell her that you are a pathelogical liar that likes to expose himself to small woodland creatures) also i already have the aggressive tires mounted on rims, i need more street tires jsut to put all the miles on.

On my last truck I went with Goodyear wranglers. I called and told them that I needed a cheap tire cause I was going to sell the truck in a few months and that's what they offered. Granted it was on a 2000 Taco and a size 235 but they were only $444 out the door. They rode really good and were quiet. I also bumped my mpg's up going to stock size from the 31's I had on there. I wouldn't hesitate to go that route again.

I've got a buddy with some Goodyear Wrangler Silent Armor tires on his Titan, and they're plenty quiet. No idea what they cost though.

    best wheel bearings around! www.marionbumper2bumper.com
They charged $750 for just the front drivers side bearing? WOW! And I thought I was quoting a tiny bit high, even with the price cut!!

OK, on your truck, Gator, we are looking at front AND rear bearings? I am quoting this for that amount.

    2001 Toyota Tacoma, 3.4l V-6 4wd.

As for the rear, Toyota has an interesting set up. I can do the work, but because you have ABS, and the wheel sensors are very touchy, I would want you to know that I can do it, but be forewarned that like Toyota, complications may arise. In general, the job shows to take a total of 9.7 hours, so I would like to have your truck for 2 days. If you want me to do the front only, I can knock that out in a day.

For all 4 wheel bearings, retainers, and seals, total including tax($60! dang!) is a bit high, at $1112 installed. With that Toyota place charging Medic @750 for just the driver's front, I see this as a good deal. If you just want the front only, then you will be looking at $700 for both front bearings and seals.

Let me know what else you need. I will need about 2 days advance notice so I can have the parts here when you bring the truck, so there won't be a delay waiting on any parts.

i don't have abs.....if i do then its been relocated and i can't find it, but all the harnesses are still in the place it is suppose to be. how much would it be for just the front again? i got all confused in the numbers lol! wait you can do all 4 bearings and seals for $1112 installed?
EDIT: i reread what you said a couple times, i don't understand stuff unless i read it couple more times (sucks and embarrassing) but i understand it all now. ignore the post below. i will let you know by the end of today! thanks bill!

i called toyota for the price of 2 front bearings and they are roughly after tax $92 each. would it be cheaper for me to buy all the parts and then bring it to you? i will be the one paying for all the parts and most of the labor. I'm just trying to find the least expensive route for me. i sure as hell aren't trying to lowball you your business. I'm just tight on money until i get paid from new job.
