Remember Jeff as a fellow “overland in Insta name” member Matt must follow all other people with overland in the name. So he sees everything related to overlanding.

    Preach!

This has more to do with the douchbag bandwagon fans that you encounter more often that a real Bama fan. As been said numerous times..all teams have them but with Bamas established success over the last 10 years, the number of those type fans for Bama have grown exponentially.

Ohio St jumped conference champion Penn St last year. If it was just purely on conference champions why even have a playoff committee at all. In all facets of the season Bama was the more consistent team and passed the eye test hands down. Bama "didn't" play anybody but they also handled their business when they played nobody. Bama's only loss was on the road, rivalry game, in prolly one of the most hostile and best home field advantage team in the nation. No one really bats an eye that Clemson lost, on the road (as Bama) to a team that didn't win another game after they beat Clemson. Oh well though, if all roles were reversed this argument would still be here so whatever.

"Man-handled"?? If a 12 point loss playing away to a rival is "man-handled" then AU got "man-handled" by 8 points to Clemson by that logic.

Anyway, this argument is always going to be biased between these 2 fanbases. Best bet is to just avoid it and consider it all null and void and be done. Roll Tide and good luck to yall in your bowl game!

You are correct, the number has grown exponentially....but, even the ones you wouldn't typically consider "douche-bag bandwagon" fans are arrogant and obnoxious. Throwing "roll tide" into regular conversation is stupid. The response from Bama fans after Auburn lost the SECCG is rampantly worse than the Auburn fans were after they beat Bama (this mainly in reference to Facebook). The "they hate us cuz they ain't us" crap just isn't true, we hate "Bammers" because they suck ass to speak to.

Seriously, I love you guys in here even if you are bama fans and you haven't really bothered me. On a day to day basis though whether it be co-workers, facebook, whatever....an Alabama fan says something obnoxious/cocky/arrogant/etc. It's just old.

    Like, so many.
Duuuude. So much this. I’m not an AU fan. I’m not even from this state. Maybe that’s why it’s so noticeable to me.

I'm not an Auburn fan either, and I grew up in an Alabama household and lived here my whole life. When Alabama was going through the restrictions/probation on them I was just getting into being a football fan. My dad was obnoxious (a bammer for sure) and I wanted a different team. Around 2000 my mom said she also cheers for LSU because that's where she is from so that's what I decided to do. I was somewhat still an Alabama fan till they lost to NIU in 2003 and LSU went on to win the NC, so that's when I dumped Alabama completely and saw the light hahaha. From then on, Alabama fans (not all, but majority) have been mean, rude, hateful, disgusting towards me or others. I've been through up and down years with LSU, seen Auburn win/lose, seen Bama win/lose, etc etc with all the teams I see around and fan bases I deal with. The Alabama fans have always (even before the historic success) been the worst towards me.

I hate it lol. I mainly hate that we don't use metric, but that's beside the point. If you do drawings for a building in the US it shouldn't be metric lol
