    It's got a cop motor, a 440-cubic-inch plant. It's got cop tires, cop suspension, cop shocks. It's a model made before catalytic converters so it'll run good on regular gas.
    i wish we would just switch to metric already.

    Any of you guys have any idea what could be causing me to lose weight? I’ve lost 10 lbs in the last week, literally the only thing I’ve done is cut down on fried food and stopped drinking

    I mean, have you been pooping more often? sick at all? eating less quantity? I burn 1 lb a day with my resting rates alone, so depending on what you eat + extra physical activity you can lose a lot.

    Been an unusually scattered schedule, and my allergies have been pretty bad too. Been taking Claritin D for the last week and that’s helped some. I walk about 12,000 steps a day around campus, maybe the other stuff just cancelled that number out?

    the average man at rest will burn 1500 cal a day just maintaining internal temp and normal organ function (~3300 cal= roughly 1 lb for reference) so just to maintain your body wait you basically need to eat 1800 calories with no additional physical activities in your normal day. if input<output wait is gained and visa versa... this is how things work

    You burn 1lbs just at resting metabolic rates. Holy hell do you eat 5k calories daily to maintain weight then. If I remember correctly 1lbs of bodyweight is equivalent to like 3200 kcals

    I haven’t been as focused on food lately as other stuff, I’d estimate my intake around 1500 some days and other days more like 2500. Maybe I can use this to get back to 169, I’m at 185 right now

    stress also make your body pack on a little extra weight, so if for some reason you had been under stress the past few months, you may have been running a little over you ideal weight, and if recently you have lowered the stressors in your life, you may started losing some of that additional weight. I would say that anytime you (you personally assuming you walk a good bit on campus) don't eat/drink more than 2000 calories in a day, you are losing weight.

    that was also per the numbers on the little scanner machine from Complete Nutrition, so take it as you will it may or may not be accurate. I believe a pound is 3500 calories. I would say I'm probably less than that now as working out has reduced some, but I am getting out and biking more and whatnot.

    If you've never had your numbers ran you'd be surprised. A relatively active fit male can burn a crap ton of calories doing nothing.

    sounds about right. If I want to lose weight I typically do about 3k-3500 calories a day with physical activity. I probably average 5k a day normally.
