aw dude thanks for believing I can actually snowboard for a little bit at least! optimism!!

 

I'm not comparing the technical ability of doing either, but I used to skateboard and road a ripstik quite a bit in college. I say that, because I've eaten SHIT a lot crashing, and that was usually concrete or asphalt....not snow...

The good this is, technology has vastly improved and snowboards aren't as dangerous, as when the first came out.

 

It's a lot of fun and if you had the balance on the Skateboard then you'll have a good time. I've never been on ski's before but I can snowboard just fine. Or used to be able to anyway. Been a long time!

 

I used to skateboard quite a lot. Put me on one now and it will have a bad ending.

oh probably the same case for me, I'm not saying the used-to-be-skill is going to transfer haha! I feel like a fairly coordinated/athletic person though and think I can pick it up.

 

I get on my old board every once in a while.

Yeah I was about to say he just about died. Took like 64 stitches and a week in ICU to recover.

 

No doubt, I have been watching Winter X Games and its been awesome!

I get to come in at 10:30 every other Monday and every other Friday, and the other ones I get to leave at 5:00 instead of 6:30

 

Snow hurts more than concrete, assuming it's hard snow. The cold makes it hurt more.
