Fake snow is like ice. Fast as hell.

 

Fake snow is generally going to be much more packed down and feel like you are on ice. It’s pretty brutal.

 

Going to be like hitting concrete.

 

I mean, I get that, but it can't be worse than smacking concrete with bare skin...seeing as how I'll be all padded up in clothes and stuff.

I know the whole "water from a certain distance is like concrete", "hitting ice is like concrete" etc etc....but ice/snow HAVE to give more than concrete from the same falling distance with more padding on..

 

Once that padding gets wet and cold all bets are off

 

Let us know how it feels next week.

Hitting ice is like hitting concrete, covered with 50 grit sandpaper.

 

but the saying "is like hitting concrete" obviously implies concrete is harder.

sometimes, ice/water/snow/etc have some give. NEVER does concrete have give. that's common sense.

it may feel like concrete, but it's not concrete.

 

I am pretty sure that’s the point they are making...

 

I get that, hence why I said it.

If you all go back to my first post I said I fully expect to be sore and exhausted and fall and knock the wind out, etc etc. It's gonna hurt I get that.

This is just another one of those conversations where everyone decides to "not argue" with me...

Snow/Ice with clothing/padding/helmet will not hurt as bad as concrete with bare skin.

 

Its like hitting concrete and then sliding on your face on asphalt until you hit a brick wall. However, it's like ice when you are trying to get back on you feet, and when you fall trying to do so, it's like hitting concrete.

Repeat above process.
