Do you have a spring on it? If not, try one, if so, try taking it off. Is it an adjustable antenna?

@BamaTaco56 got the speakers installed last night. in and out in an hour with help from my son. he did 1 side as I did the other, we tag teamed a few things. ezpz. he enjoyed the ********* youtube vid :D good sound, better than stock. I suffer from access cab sound though, having just 2 speakers sux balls.

nope. there are tiny headliner speakers back there, but they are useless. When I fade to rear, I cant even hear em. front stage only FTW :headbang:

definitely something to consider. i dont want to pull headliner. there are no door grilles where speakers should be. back seat full of stuff, so a box of some sort wont work for me.

not sure what the "front of the underneath the seat" area looks like....basically where your heels would hit if you sat back there. Put some 6x9s in my old '89 toyota in that spot and it was super easy.

might be a good spot. I have so many tool boxes and other random shit that it would block the sound from that area. I could declutter, but then I wont have all my shit........:anonymous:

I upgraded my old school 91 ext cab Toyota pickup back in the day and it definitely made a difference....granted the rear speakers may not have worked prior to, but after I upgraded the sound quality definitely increased!

I can definitely see how having 4 speakers would be beneficial. I will check around. I have the 2 stock spares, so would be cheap if I can find the right spot
