Your gunna have to look outside of bama sir. Trucks and suv are crazy expensive here.

 

That's the problem though, everyone that has them knows they can get more out of them than what NADA or KBB shows. A lot of the older Toyotas can be sold for that because people will pay cash money for them without the research!

 

I'm fine with going out of Alabama, but I want it to be a southern vehicle. I'm just afraid to drive my truck too far right now without having my bearings replaced yet.

lol true dat. I just don't understand how anyone can buy a 20+ year old vehicle for 5 grand or more.

 

Not to sound racist but from my ventures through the years and used dealerships and or private sellers....a lot of them depend on the Hispanics to keep their prices higher. I had an old boy over in Cedartown Georgia have a huge lot of old Toyota trucks and SUVs priced on AVERAGE 4-5k above actual price strictly due to the Hispanics in the area not knowing any better and always paying 100% cash for them.

 

the one I linked was in TN and had been on the sight for over 2 months so you could prolly talk them down to $3500 or a little less since you can't pay taxes there and will get hit a little heavier when you bring it back in state. but how many 20 year old vehicles do you know with 200k on the clock or less? I would be worried that a 4x4 with low mileage (with respect to age) may be a trailer rider

 

you're not wrong. I'm still hopeful doofus butt friend of my BIL will sell me his but he sure doesn't seem anxious to
