Don't buy into the TORCON too much though, it is a vague made up term with little to no scientific backing to prove it's accuracy. It was made up as a scare term to show the severity of a weather situation so no one can have the excuse that they didn't know it would be as bad as it was.

 

oh I know. the first 10 they ever gave though was Alabama in April 2011.

To ride like this you have to be fully armored and pick the right lines for sure.

 

The f5 that hit my grandparents torn spruce pine mountain to pieces, the valleys and everything. Trees are just starting to grow back 6 years later.

I dont agree with the “I live in a valley” method of thinking at all.

definitely agree. I'll be playing (Fortnite) and being weather aware as long as the power is on.
