haha I probably would've done the same! I've got a sweet little Toro push mower that kicks ass, but just need to be able to do the yard faster. With a rider I'd be able to mow the whole thing one evening instead of devoting a whole Saturday haha

 

They’re cheaper than you might think. Mine with the trailer is only $114 a month. And I’m using their money to finance it. I saw the other day they were showing I think it was one for $78 a month.

 

Bad thing is I chose to not have an off weekend. I could turn down work, but I’m paper chasing.

 

I trashed both my push mowers after I got the Zero. I use it and the trimmer. I don’t want a damn think to do with a push mower anymore. I’m even going to redo my fence so I don’t have to trim a path with the trimmer. Screw that extra work.

 

Mine was a Toro too. Hated that pos. After a year it was a pain in the ass.

Yeah me either. It won’t fit down the path to the shop and the big door is on the outside of the fence. I park mine and cover it with a tarp. Need to get a new shop built to put it in.

I like to make my yard look nice, even if it is mainly weeds. I also weed eat, edge, and do all cleanup in the same day. Usually can't resist trimming back some trees or something too. I enjoy yardwork so it's hard to limit myself on what I do in the day lol

 

yeah that must be nice lol. looking forward to having the riding mower running great.

 

I work all my yardwork in during the week so I have the whole weekend to drink beer!........and not "work"

 

I quite enjoy doing some yardwork on the weekend, but just don't want to HAVE to because of the time it takes...make sense? like I want the option to do it on weeknights and actually get it done haha!

Most weeknights work has me so mentally tired I don't wanna do NUTHIN when I get home

 

I enjoy it too! Nicely maintained with lines and neatly edged. Makes all the difference! My neighbors stepped up their game so far this year. Almost like a competition. One sees the other doing something then everyone is out doing something. Lol!

 

haha I definitely don't have competition, but I just want less weeds, more grass this year.

 

The epic battle that’s been going on for centuries between grass and weeds! When will there be balance? Oh, when you call Tru Green or one of those other guys. Lol!

 

yeah I'm not paying anybody for that. called some the other day and got this:

them: "Is your yard at least 50% grass?"
me: "uh, no it's like 99% weeds"
them: "oh, we have to have it be like at least 50% grass, do you want someone to come see your yard to see if it is?"
me: "uh, no. I just said it's like 99% weeds."
them: "oh, yeah we can't treat that then it has to be 50% grass"
me: "but like, you're lawn care people...isn't it like your job to grow grass?"
them: "yeah, but like it has to be 50% grass first"
me: "so like, you have to make sure you can't fail at growing the grass is what you're saying?"
them: "sorry we couldn't be of service" *phone hangs up*

and yes, it felt very much like a teenage girl conversation with the "uh's" and "like's"
