    asked one of our CAD workers to get me some dimensions on some gas lines so I could do some sizing....at 10am...still haven't received them.

    got access to the CAD drawing myself and got the dimensions in about 45 seconds and sized everything in about 10 minutes.

    what do CAD people even do when engineers can do it better?

    Over my career I have found it comes down the the person who is handling the situation. If they have been properly trained with customer service the customer will always have a good experience.

    I use to say “the customer is always right, except when they are wrong but, we smile and let them think that they are right!”

    also, it's simply measuring lines that they drew. so no mistakes to be fixed.
