@gixxerphil dry bag worked like a champ! It didn’t fit where I was going to put in the yak due to having sleeping bag in it but like it. I got sleeping bag, extra clothes, a hammock and food in it. Nitro Terra Grapplers. Second set of them on mine and love them. Work great in the wet weather and the best thing is when you have that asshole on the road just pull over in front of them and coat their ass like a waterfall in the rain. Love watching as the wipers go to full blast. I don't go mudding a lot but they have never left me stuck but I don't do deep mud mostly hunting type stuff. They also performed great in that ice shit we got not long ago down here. Will have to go with the Terra Grappler G2's now as they replaced these.

These days I've pouring the miles on the truck so I need to stick with a AT tire. I work an hour away from home and all trips we take are in my truck so I average a little over 20k miles a year and need something I'm not replacing all the time. They run about $900 with 285's.

 

I'm looking at the Falken Wildpeak AT3's in 235/85/16 or 265/75/16. I like the "pizza cutter" style better. The price doesn't seem to bad at $125ish a piece.

I've heard good things about those. I don't do much mud either. Mostly old forest roads and the occasional moderately difficult trail. I work like 8 minutes from home so I'm only putting like 10-15k a year on the truck right now. I got a pretty good deal on the Goodyear's so I decided to give them a shot. I got a set of 265/75/16s for about $680. They'll be going on the short list for my next set for sure. Thanks man.
