Thank you, @Scott B. and @rmepilot. You guys probably know this, but I found out that there are 4 sensors. One in each exhaust manifold and one passed each cat. The code said bank 2, do you know which ones are bank 2? I'll probably just replace all 4, but I am curious which are bank 2. That way I can look to see if there is something else wrong.

Bank 2 should be the drivers side of the motor on the 4.0. Sensor 1 is the upstream O2 and sensor 2 is the downstream. Sensor 2 is the most common failure sensor on any toyota truck in my experience.

I personaly wouldnt replace them all. O2 sensors can sometimes last the life of the truck. But sometimes they can also all go bad lol. Id only replace as needed. I have the special sockets for the upstream sensors if you need them let me know.

Not disputing your experience, but I have never known an O2 sensor to last that many miles and still function correctly. In my experience, they might not throw codes, but they still aren't metering as they should.

Also, replacing non-functioning sensors can fix other, harder to find issues.

Maybe Toyota sensors last longer than the Bosch ones I am use to - that certainly would be nice.

I got 215k before my first one went out and I replaced it and my other 3 are running well enough to boost replaced with sensor I think that might be oem

Dispute away bud. Im not an expert by far. I only tell from my experiences. Others have dif experiences. I have never used bosch sensors so im not sure how they are. When it comes to important sensors like that ive always used oem. But i also only used oem when i worked at toyota. I replaced a sensor in an 07 tundra with almost 800,000 miles on it. It was the first sensor or any none maintenance part he had to replace on it. Bank 2 sensor 2 on a 4.7 v8. Ill never forget it.

It is very true that they may not be functioning as well as they should but thats when you start getting other codes that might not be for that sensor but it is a direct result of that sensors issue. Also a sensor noy functioning correctly can sometimes cause harm to much more expensive things lol.
