I'm always up for having a meet at my place. I could also travel this time. Looks like the Huntsville crew is getting smaller, so we would probably have more show up in the B'ham or Monkeytown area.

Those look earily familiar.....I know, I know! I have a set just like them in my attic...

Did someone post it yesterday? My memory say no, and just for that ROLL TIDE to make up for missing it. Now that I understand how bad it is for you, consider it my daily present for a little while....:D

It's official. The Tacoma is for sale. Going to take some pics and post up this weekend. $27,000 OBO.

2010 Toyota Tacoma Double Cab, 5' bed. Magnetic Gray Metallic, TRD Off Road Package with factory rear e-locker. Has OE XM satellite radio and antenna. OE TRD dark gray floor mats.

36,800 miles, but still being driven occasionally.

    Has the following:
    OME 885 Springs - Front
OME Dakar leaf packs - Rear
OME Nitro shocks all the way around (Full OME kit is around $1,100)
    Light Racing UCA's ($450)
Stubbs Welding HD-SKO rock sliders ($355)
Bud Built Skids - full flat belly (IFS, Mid, T-Case, BudBuilt Crossmember) ($725)
OE Toyota TRD Special Edition FJ Cruiser Wheels - Anthracite (16", 4.5" BS to fit 33's without wheel spacers) ($1,000 if you can find them)
285/75/16 BFG AT (approx 16k miles on them. they still look new) ($900)
Exhaust re-route from under t-case to beside for skid plate clearance

    Total mods, approx $4,500

Truck had dealer service at 5k, and I've done Mobil 1 full synthetic oil changes every 5k miles, with an oversized M1-209 oil filter. Will have 36k mile service done at a local dealer before delivery to buyer.

I will also include all OE suspension components (Leaf Packs are the TSB replacements, not the flimsy ones) that were removed when the lift was installed, as well as the OE wheels and tires. The tires are on the rims, but the beads aren't seated and they need valve stems. I had the TPMS sensors transferred to the FJ wheels. I've also got the OE skid plates and mud flaps.

    The bad:
Has a large dent in the rear bumper on the driver's side. I was rear ended when someone at a stop sign thought I was pulling out, and they ran into me. The tailgate and DS tail light were replaced, but I opted not to replace the bumper, as I was planning to do a steel off-road type bumper.

KBB price for "Excellent Condition" is $28,794 Aside from the bumper, I'd definitely say that the rest of the truck qualifies for Excellent condition. A body shop quoted me in the neighborhood of $700 for a new bumper installed. Given all the extras, as well as including all of the OE parts, I think the price of $27k is a bargain to be honest.

I'll post some pics this weekend, but those are the details. If y'all know of anyone looking, PM me or tell them to shoot me a PM. Not gonna post in the FS forum until I have pics.

Well if enough people are interested, since we call it a mod-meet anyway, instead of an off-road meet, I would be more than happy to host it at the shop here in Marion next year. With 2 lifts and plenty of floor space we could hang out and do some mods. Cookouts would be great too. So maybe getting a date and some plans hashed out early would be a good idea and then figure out who wants to meet up where.

haha yeah he told me. He said he passes her all the time while walking and was like "little blonde russian girl, figure i'll ask if shes brians wife".

You never should have joined TLCA! You know that thing is way to pretty to wheel right? Lexus or Toyota? I've always been curious to see the Lexus' hydraulic suspension in person.

The alabama group is dropping members like flies. Hate that I started a trend haha

It's an 04 Toyota, so no KDSS. We have taken a couple of family trips in the wife's Jetta TDI, and while the MPG is stellar, the space is, uh... rather lacking. At the end of the day the SUV is really a better option as a family vehicle than a truck. I'd kinda been loosely looking, but this one popped up for sale, and it was a great deal, so we went ahead and jumped on it. It's in as perfect cosmetic shape as an 8 year old truck could be, has been dealer maintained since day 1 at World Toyota in Atlanta, has all service records, and the guy I bought it from was really meticulous with it.

I'm planning to sell my Tacoma, and have this thing paid for within the year. The plan is to keep it pretty mild, probably level the front, do 33's when it needs tires probably in the spring, and then call it good. Though... this is kinda what I told myself when I bought a $32k Tacoma... In a year it might have bumpers, air lockers, lift, and 35's. We'll see...

before you go down that path again, buy a damn trailer and trail rig. you'll be much happier and have a lot more fun. (not to mention save more money in the long run)

That's the plan once it's paid for. Trailer, and an 85 solid axle raisin either spooled or with lockers.
