Why feel the need to blast a company because you weren't smart enough to grab all possible domain names? If you're good enough folks are going to know how to find you and if they are at the right site or not. Example: dicks.com vs dickssportingoods.com

 

Maybe they're just like a lot of other things......post false shit and ignore all fact and reason

 

And how do you know the difference b/t those 2 sites?

 

Everybody does. I remember the first time as a kid I made that damn mistake. I want to say its changed now, but back then it sure wasnt a sporting goods site

 

I made the same mistake years ago.........never happened again. A few years ago one of our ER docs did that. This man is a strong Christian man. I've never seen someone's face turn so red. I kinda felt bad for laughing.

 

I also don't see where Rago made that post, so it's been deleted? Poster's remorse?

There are virtually infinite "possible domain names" for any given company. Not to mention ".com", ".net", etc.

Think bigger.

 

that's my point exactly. anybody could have a domain name that "fits" your company if they want.

if you're product is good enough or people know you well enough, they're going to know if it's actually your site or not.

sorry, I'm not going to go searching for Rago Fab, end up on Cali Raised and go "oh well guess I'll buy from Cali Raised". that's a dumbass that would do that.
