Well, that's what we're here for. I'm open to help at least 3 or 4 nights out of the week most the time. And these other guys would be great as well. Lots of knowledgeable people in the Alabama group.

 

Interested. I'm ordering up some 1/4 top plate spacers and light racing UCA's to round out my suspension set up, 3" front and back. I liked the rake but I need more clearance up front. I'm going to need to install them somewhere other than the top of the parking deck

 

I installed my UCA's in my driveway of my duplex in college at about 2AM. I have faith in you. Lol.

But for real, my garage is always open (within reason) to you guys. Just ask. Can't promise I'll work for free, but I'll watch and give my input for free. haha

 

There are a few folks around the Birmingham area that need to do some stuff and I will be installing Dakars soon. We can get something together in the Birmingham area so you don't have to drive to Huntsville. I have space in my garage to do some work and I have air tools now.

But, it is kind of a requirement in this thread to work on your truck in Brian's garage at some point. Even if you publicize it just to say that nobody is allowed to come......

Or they can do like the guy we have at work that has a offroad shop. We get out there and start working and he can't stand it but to come out. Then just do something dumb (on purpose) and he'll take over cause he knows he can do it better than you. lmao

 

Lol. Yeah, its always tough not jumping in to help after you said you wouldn't. Its a good exercise in self control.

 

I also have a fair amount of concrete and a garage space to work about around Cahaba Valley / Indian Springs..

Trey probably has more tools at his pad though as I haven't completely moved in.

 

Freakin Parkway is getting busier by the day. City is contracting a study of the 565/Parkway exchange, Cecil Ashburne will be closed for almost a year (watch what that does to Governors), study already on widening 565 to 6 lanes (might as well go 8), and recent report said Huntsville will be largest city in Alabama in a decade. I hate traffic and it really is getting intolerable going north on the Parkway as you near Governors. I always take the Clinton exit then continue right back up on the Parkway to avoid having to merge across three lanes.

 

Leaving work, I take Gov's from I-565, so I can avoid the Parkway, unless I run I-565/Hwy 72 all the way out.

Today I'm headed to VHCC after work, so I'm screwed.

 

Adding those 17000+ cars over Governors (me being one of them), I can't imagine the death toll from wrecks increase during that time!
