You're talking too much money now John!!

This won't be my forever home so not making it a legit garage, but I will build it where walls can obviously be added later to make a sort of "pole barn carport". Really going for a more aesthetic style carport so it doesn't just look white trashy, but will protect the vehicles from tree debris.

man bathroom remodels SUCK. I think I'm just going to use one of those garage floor epoxy kits that has the paint specks in it.

Dang I can't even begin to think about doing another one. This one's a whole gut out, moving a wall, and new arrangement. I honestly am not a handyman, I can't do much as far as the "construction" part, more of a "demo" guy lol. I have folks that do know though and are going to help me out. Biggest booger will be moving the toiler piping (if possible). We will figure that out when I get to the floor joists.

they also improve credit score, and allow for ease of large purchases.

not really many negatives to them, unless you're financially irresponsible.

dang that's going to be sweet! I haven't fully made a decision on what all of my stuff will be made out of, but I know I'm going to do a standing shower that just has one of those flat floor sections with a lip on it to just walk into, big enough for 2 people ;)

@pat's taco here's a rough sketch of what I'm going for in mine. Top being current, bottom being future. The large closet is in the hallway and I hardly use it now, so I want to take most of it away to add an extra almost 2 feet to the bathroom. The biggest booger like I said is can I move the toilet..

the front wall of the closet (the hallway wall with the closet door in it) is actually the load bearing, so the backside of the closet that I'll be tearing out isn't an issue. my concern is moving the toilet drain through floor joists....this is on a second floor...forgot to add that..
