@coke can, the one referencing the transmission (MT) stuttering around 45-60 while being in higher gears, getting up a small hill that requires you to press the gas a tad more makes the truck feel like you're driving over small holes in the ground and the rev hang makes it a workout to not buck the truck or burn the clutch.....not sure 1.5 hr drive is worth the effort but it might be seeing as how it drives sometimes, if i get a name i can call and ask to talk to the guy and maybe he can let me know if he can or not then no time wasted, i've dealt with it since Feb. i can wait some more no biggie

Oh yeah, I've heard of that one. I'm automatic transmission though. Good luck!

Oh, haven't had the problem listed in either of those. 58-18 looks like it's only through 2017 models though, so maybe it's not worth even bringing up for me.

@mdbutler7 i printed out the TSB's from the threads here and took it to Team One and showed them and told them they can pull it up on their computers and hook up to the ECU and it'll show it needs the update hell even used a highlighter to show the actual numbers they need to look for, only response i got was " until they send us something which they haven't we won't and can't do anything" when i asked to speak to the guy who signs their paycheck since they aren't willing to help the customer who bought a $35k truck from their dealership and brings in paperwork and has knowledge they don't care to listen to being nice wasn't going to happen. the shop manager repeated the same thing the previous moron said.. maybe i should use the exact sentence you did and i would have better luck, but being nice then someone being condescending doesn't go over well...but i'll try to expand my search and hopefully i'll get it worked out...

Maybe. I've heard it can depend on how quickly the testers submit the paperwork. If that was a long time ago, I also heard the FCC may have made some changes to make it go through much quicker than it used to.
I may have had the advantage of getting it done with a huge group of people at Huntsville Ham Fest, so they pushed it through quicker than normal too.

My 2016 auto was hesitating when I shifted from reverse to drive. Bill Penny updated it no questions asked.

Here's the crib sheet. Good to watch the videos first. I suggest you remove the front seats. The headliner has a plastic shell and dents/bends will not come out easily. Depending on where you are installing antenna it may be hard to reach in and drill with it in place. See here where Scott B. installed his antennas and he used a backing to ensure no flex in the roof. Not a bad idea when you consider how much the wind pressure can put on a skinny pole. There is also some spacer boards installed in the headliner that will fall out when you drop it down. Once I matted my roof I did not need them as well as some other matting in the roof.

How to Remove Your Headliner Toyota Tacoma 2006
    Remove Headliner
    - Remove front pillar
    - Remove visors
    - Remove back knobs (quarter counterclockwise turn and pull out)
    - Remove upper console (remove screw in sunglass holder, spikes in front and claws in back)
    - Remove headliner holder knobs on side (they pop open from top then use a 10mm socket)
    - Remove headliner from behind weather stripping and middle pillar
    - Dome light (two locking spring clips on sides, plastic clip in the front and claw in back)
    - Remove rear grab handles
    - Rear coat hangers (quarter counterclockwise turn and pull out). If necessary put a flat head screwdriver on the right side of it to depress tongue and pull out.
    - Wiggle it out of the pillars on the back
    - Reinstall back to front.

Two videos - Here and Here

Go to her bank and tell the lending officer that she wants to build credit. If she has a savings account get a secured loan. Put the money from the loan in that account and use it to only pay that loan back. They may even let her get a unsecured loan but do the same thing. Don’t use the money for anything but paying the loan back.

When my wife moved to the US, we took $1000 and opened her a credit card with it. When she used it, they would charge her interest on our $1000 if she didn’t pay it back every month. I think she had it a little over a year before she finally got a job and we were able to show she had credit and income. Then we were able to get her a real card.
