    All I can say is good luck, it's not hard, but being OCD will have you checking backlash 100 times during the process.

    Although, my diffs seems to be holding up better than @JBTacoma's lol

    Its roughly 1700 if I take my truck to ecgs for gears. I think its roughly the same if they send it to me.

    Buying prebuilt clamshell and 3rd member seems like the cheapest and easiest way to do it.

    Gotta factor in that long ass drive on 35s, will cost a dollar or two

    That's why I think having them shipped to me. I have to put my rear locker into them though

    Mine turned out to be an ARB issue. When they sent me a new diff they referred to it as the new style.

    Oh, I still use it just not in a turn, that is what snaps CVs.
    Front locker is for sure a game changer.

    So in my experience, Crawl control and MTS is better than on open front diff but no where near the level of a front locker. One of the problems is that in MTS and Crawl the computer will limit your wheel speed so you can't power you way over an obstacle with wheel spin.

    I'm just stating what he said at iron gap. He said he wont use it unless he has to.

    I havent come across anything that a front locker could've got me over that a rear locker couldn't.
