front will fit in a 5gal bucket as well with all mounting hardware removed. that extra long arm from the passenger side should be removed as well.

They will not ship you "shipping materials" - a box. And, the box they ship you the parts in will most likely not be reusable - thank you, Fed Ex.

well I just thought about this too, that the front can be an entirely new setup. so if they ship that to me, with the space available to put my rear into (teehee) then I can return my front and my rear, they can work the rear and send that back to me when it's done.

idk maybe I'm over complicating it lol

that could work, they go ahead and send you the front with a box big enough for both and send you the rear when they're done. that way you can have front finished by the time the rear arrives back.

tidbits from opening up the rear 3x in 2 years......

no elocker, thats good, that fucker caused us headaches. that is why I had to re-open it at AOP.

make sure to disconnect the ABS sensors from your axles. (broke 1 at chocco) also, unbolt brake lines from rear axle as well. to prevent pulling them loose, when you pull out the rear axles.

you need to pull the rear axles out about 4", both sides, same time, to get the third out / in. 3-4 man job. (1 on each axle, 2 on the third, its flippin heavy)

not a bad job at all though. :D

So I did a thing last night and made some antenna brackets for my front bumper. They’re cut out to mate perfectly with a 2 inch diameter tube that is my front hoop. Getting my buddy to tig weld it for me tonight.

Once they’re welded up I’m going to drill the holes to match the antenna. One is for VHF and the other will he be for the CB.

I’m down to help out if I’m free. Curious to see the guts of the differentials in person.
