I just don't have like specialty tools, like wheel bearing puller.

two things I know I really need to get are deepwell sockets and a dang floor jack...tired of using my bottle jack.

 

We should talk about your lack of tooling here friend.

 

Buy tools you need for a specific job because you are saving that money by not going to a shop (justification). Acquire a shit ton of tools because stuff breaks. Profit.

 

Also, you need to make a harbor freight run for some sockets and a floor jack.

 

Brian's had most of those specialty tools for me, like the wheel bearing puller so I just borrowed it for that job.

you are correct I do need to do this.

 

no wheel bearings have to be replaced during this, unless you just want to replace them.

I will say this while axles are pulled out don't let them droop or angle down from being pulled out a few inches the whole time truck is on jack stands.

 

lol I know that no wheel bearings do, I was simply giving an example of the kind of tools I don't have.

Buy a descent ratchet and then just buy all of your sockets from HF.

Might also want to get a better 21mm socket since it’s used sooo much on lug nuts. My HF HF 21mm impact socketnit starting to round out.

 

Are you interested in a Harbor Freight aluminum "racing" floor jack? I used to carry it in my truck, but it does not fit the way I want it to in my drawer system.
