need to try better on the "screwing with me point". it works better when you're correct and I'm wrong, not when you just reinforce that I'm correct lol

 

sketchy i know because he wasn't on ebay long when i bought them, but here is who i bought these from. I felt fine using ebay protection, paypal protection, plus credit card backing me.

 

I honestly dont know that it made any difference..........I think the only point it might make any difference is when you need to start out and go .025 MPH, rather than .03 MPH

I regeared for daily driving......

 

i choose my lockers and compressor over a bumper to each their own though ya know.

 

I tried crawl controland MTS on this spot without success. Finally just adjusted my line and made it.

 

oh mine is hugely for daily driving lol. I imagine in 4low it will be quite different with 4.88s than with 3.73s.

My old toyota had 5.29s (bought it that way) and in 4low first gear (straight shift) I could get out of it and it crawled, buddy had the same truck with stock gears (can't remember ratio) and his would die haha

had the 4low been changed to 4.7low gear. I figured it still may die on a trail crawling if stock low range gearing.

 

It works sometimes. It makes a good crutch for the inexperienced. The crawl control is nice for ascending slick spots like snow and loose rocks and descending steep hills.

 

only feature I really wish I had was that downhill assist I think the offroads have? seeing Dave use that once in Moab made me super envious. gears should help me some in low, but I hate having to use the brakes in uncomfortable downhill situations.

 

Must be an automatic transmission thing. I’ve got Atrac and that’s it as far as off-road assists go.

 

yeah he is an auto. I don't know much more than that about it lol.

 

Gotcha. As far as Atrac goes I’ve never really noticed it doing much but maybe I just not paying attention? Idk.

Yeah auto only. Was one of my reasons for picking auto- figured being a complete off-road noob I could use all the technological crutches they could fit.

 

Good for getting you outta trouble in sand as well. I know fro Experience.
