    My brothers are both hunkered down in Southport and Callaway, one with 3 kids and all the grand kids. Gonna run right over Tyndall AFB. A Cat 4 is serious business and noted they have no records of a Cat 4 hitting that area ever. Appalachicola is just gonna get totally slammed with storm surge as well as Mexico beach. Gonna try a cell call in a few minutes to see if brothers are still up. They both have generators with gas for a full week.

    Surfed Hurricane Camille in 1969 in Panama City with several other friends. 20+ feet, third sandbar at the Jettys. No one said get out of water back then. Hell, don't even think they were around. We had a illegitimate key to the gate at the Jetty's. Talked with brother in Callaway a bit ago. Not that bad yet (30mph winds) but power went out and came back on while we were talking. Gonna get worse though.

    I just don't understand why people pay this much for gears when ECGS will send you the units for $1500 (after refundable core charge) for a Clamshell and 8.75 rear regeared, with a warranty. :spending:

    I get this is all new hardware, but ECGS is going to check this stuff to the best of their knowledge.
