ring floodlight cams are what i use, cheap yearly at $100.

I bought 4, only use 3. I didn't realize one corner of my house didn't have floodlight wiring already when i bought it.

 

I can’t remember what I have. The company that does the security came and set up. Works good and has come in handy a few times. I recommend having one but can’t recommend a brand.

 

I’m not judging. I’m just saying he needs to be more active in his community.

My brother has his house surrounded by Amcrest cameras. Get the one that will take an SD card, and it should be able to record 100% of the time for a couple days on big card.

I saw a video about a pretty decent DIY raspberry pi driven camera that would be much cheaper, but haven't had a chance to experiment with it yet.

 

Best part is you get to supervise drinking a beer while they do all the work on the install.

Went to all the auto parts stores for the Lucas 85w-140 diff fluid and they didnt have enough...only found 4 quarts at 3 stores...

 

Why you using the expensive stuff when you're just gonna flush it in 500 miles after the break in?

 

It's what they call for. I dont want to break warranty for any reason

You're paying for the warranty with the parts and labor so it'd be kind of dumb not to.

Did you buy the diffs with new bearings and all that?

 

If they replaced them then yeah, but I dont know if they do or not.

 

Ah, I forgot you sent yours in to them. I'd be getting them to send me the diffs and send them mine as a core.

 

Yeah I'm not sure exactly what all they do, you kinda just get a couple line items on an invoice..

 

As long as the gears are installed right and it does what its supposed to do, I probably won't pay much attention to the invoice... that is as long as its close to what I was originally quoted. haha

they couldn't do core charge on the rear because the ARB.

If i had to guess they reuse your bearings unless they are worn in which they call you tell you and ask you to pay for new bearings.

All assumptions of course, I'd also assume if you have a part fail they don't cover the part unless it's their install fault. who knows till it happens though.
