My guess is no, but I have nothing to back that guess up. I only guess that because I've never seen anybody do it.

 

are you talking about actually cutting the radiator support and moving it up?

 

or just angling it could achieve the same thing, I've saw where mines made contact with a lot of rocks that last time you, jeff, and me were at chocco

 

Right there with ya man. This is my daily and I have to find a balance lol. I like researching and building over time as well. Although I just dinged up mine at hawk Pride so the new is worn off

 

I'm sure if enough bends were added to the skid plate, you could achieve slighter higher angles of approach. It would take some experimentation to get the angles correct while still clearing the front diff, but it could be done I bet.

 

i think it could easily be done, for a guy like yourself

definitely could take a few inches

 

better get a jumpstart on the new models of ifs skids moving them up like that! I do see where you could possibly gain a few inches though.

 

i guess you could still high center in the middle of the front tires, but it would increase approach angle since i do believe that hangs down just before the tires.

 

yeah don't be trying to move the diffs and supports up in the middle lol

 

i'm just saying, @Jerneyman talked about wanting to try and build his own front bumper. I think doing something unique like that would attract a lot of positive attention.

 

I think you're correct.

 

I could potentially see chopping that entire piece up to the bumper mounting bolts and welding in a new crossmember made from something indestructible. Then you’d have to build a new skid and a custom bumper. But that’s sort of the point.

I got a tetanus shot a few years back. I'll probably be ok

 

I vote yes for the same thing Mark said earlier. Also, there's more research and support TO get the shot than there are valid theories not to lol.

most that don't get it just have some opinion or whatnot about it with not a whole lot to back it up. if you don't get it you can still be a carrier, #1 reason to me to get it.
