Wet, cold, and muddy. I dont know about all that stuff but it was nice meeting and talking to everyone there. The weather was miserable but we made the best of it. Helps we were camped out with a great group of guys.

I'm about tired of this rain around here. Damn yard is a mud hole now. Need to get the new camper stocked and take her to Florida for her maiden voyage. I need some sun.

Fuckers at work to hire some people so we can actually get off to go somewhere. This time of year is kinda shitty because our year ends Dec 16th for vacations (Time to use what you have before you lose the extra you can't carry over). Everyone and their damn brother at work has put in vacation time. A bunch of our part timers are filling in for full time slots so not much to go around. I still think it's kinda shitty after I've been there almost 21 years that I have to hope I can get a day off sometimes. If you can;t get it off then you can swap with someone to get the day off. That means at some point I'll have to work 48 hours to pay them back. Hell with that crap, I like my time off now.

But, I guess that's how they have to save money when the county says to cut the budget. Part-timers cost less to use.

 

Im last in senority amoung 40+ in my department. Getting days during rounds sucks
