    Don't need a timing light to do that. Lean it out, advance the timing, get into some serious pre-ignition detonation, and the rest takes care of itself. :rofl:

    Ah yes... the pavement-up swap.

    Nah, the tires and wheels I think are still keepable. Just pull the lugs, slide out the old truck, and slide a fresh 1st gen in its place. lol.

    I have been counting your vote but I am thinking of going to a Runner for the family to come with unless I can find a KILLER deal on an ext cab 5spd.
    :violent::sadviolin::crapstorm:
    Everything stated above, minus blowing up the motor, is a lot easier said than done. I am actually posting the truck, as I type this, on Ebay right now. It will be sold, hopefully, before Christmas. If not before Christmas, then before tax time. If not before taxes, then either 3.4 swap or "steal" Alex's truck and try to convince him it is out west somehow....... :spy:
    Anyways, If it is sold around tax time, I will be looking for a different RUNNING truck. I learned from my mistake, drive BEFORE you buy.

    I actually have a jeep now. Imagine that.
    Audio install in these trucks is pretty darn easy. And about a box. I built up plans and got most of the materials to do it myself. Then I found a box for two tens on ebay for 70 shipped....

    If kurt ever gets back on here, I gave him one of my boxes. Not sure if he still has it but he doesn't have the taco anymore so he should give it to you.

    I used to do custom audio installations as well. Haven't done it in a couple of years, but still have the know-how. What exactly are you looking at getting done besides building a box?

    Can't call me a band wagoneer. I have been an Alabama fan since high school. Just like I have been a Cowboys fan since I was a kid. Fan through the good years and the bad. I don't bail on my teams.
