    I'm unsure if I'd want an umbrella at 50 or a 10x10 canopy for around that.

    Yeah my canopy I just got was 40 something. Hoping I can set it up against the truck as best as possible.

    I'm with you. I'd opt for the canopy as it can be used away from the truck.

    Its like overlanding, but instead of driving somewhere to camp, you just drive somewhere to setup a wholeeeee lot of unnecessary shade

    I say don't settle for just shade. Take it one step further. Lets combine a road shower with an awning. Sort of like a slow drip hole covered awning with fan accessories.

    Please, allow me to demonstrate:
    A water tank, that integrates a few drip strips along the awning, with a fan attachment on the end. Please, no PM's yet, this is very early development, and no pre-orders will be taken at this time.

    You should see my other draw ups! Heres a pre-production camp table that would utilize the space between the tent and bed rack. Drill a few holes through the table top to secure it in with wingnuts, and have the foldable legs tuck between the running rails of the tent in that empty space between tent and rack.
    I have great ideas! :rofl::rofl::rofl:

    Sometimes sarcasm isn't easily picked up through text, so let it be clear, these are jokes guys. Even though I think deep down, they're awesome ideas :thumbsup:

    Just got my $50 trailer find home. Luckily the dry rot tires survived the 30 minute drive. Needs a little work but overall good shape for $50.

    Oh its a serious idea I've had, just a joke drawing lol I thought of building my own table to make it fit in that empty natural channel, but itd be way too expensive. But the space on the underside of a bed rack or bed bars is honestly great unused space for a table if you can make a way to make it work. I thought of finding a skinny narrow plastic table to fit those dimensions, but I think they'd be too thick. But if I find a table that'll fit in that empty channel on top of the bedrack between rack and tent, itd be extremely easy to add 2 stops on the cab side, and 2 swiveling style stops on the tailgate end.

    @Jerneyman you ever made a super thin table with folding legs able to recess in? lol Say about 34" wide and 4'ish long? haha Only 2-3 thick folded up? haha not too much to ask right?

    for a crude solution just use some 2" angle spaced the width of the table.

    That would work hanging underneath the bed rack. My thoughts are sliding a table on top of the rack though. There's a natural channel the tent creates bc it sits on 2 rails. I'll make another drawn to scale drawing haha

    i get where your saying. really would just need to make some spacers to open up the gap some. this table is 1.75" thick when folded.
