I'll be in NC this weekend visiting family for thanksgiving. If I was driving my truck, I'd find somewhere to go wheeling but we're riding with the in laws. I may try and snag a dirt bike out of the grandparent's shed and go for a ride though. Always enjoy riding in the sand up there.

Every time I think I've made up my mind on a tire, I always come back to the cooper st maxx in 255/85/16. I feel like I'm gonna lose 1-2 mpg no matter what tire I go with, so why not be happy with the meatiest one? lol

If you are going to be using the tires offroad any go with the STT Pros, much better tire.

thats the sad part, I want an offroad tire for 99% on road lol
Edit: I plan to mod it over time, eventually finding a car to daily, so I hope to armor it up and offroad in the future, not caring about gas mileage, but for now, its my daily.

There is very little difference between the ST Max and the STT Pro on the road but a big difference offroad.

anyone run a dash cam? I'm looking at getting two, one for me, one for the wife. I know the thinkware's are reliable and top of the line, but come at a steep price. Seems the cheaper options are hit or miss on reliability.

Yeah, make sure you get one that runs on a capacitor, not a battery. First one I got died pretty quick this summer when it got too hot. Lithium batteries apparently don't like heat.

or buy 4 12 ton jackstands from harbor freight, they will get you about the same height and safer for 200.

As for the concept, its a great concept/idea. I wouldn't crawl under a vehicle and trust that though. The least they could have done is put some type of jackstand like posts on it or something just in case that cheap ass hydraulic lift shits the bed with you underneath the vehicle.
