We need to get another meet going for sometime in feb or first of march mod meet or ride meet.

 

i was hoping for late january. that way it will help motivate me to hurry up and get my cb installed.

Has anyone gotten their cab mount chopped in Birmingham?

 

i didnt think birmingham was getting that rough.... i knew they moved to #4 on the most dangerous cities but i didnt know they had started chopping cab mounts now?????? i think its time for me to move.

 

Deer season will be over after jan. and maybe everyone would have their tax money for extra mods.

 

hmmmm. well at least some will have money to go towards mods. my tax money is already claimed for something else....... oh well.

 

Haha I know what u mean but this year I plan on keeping a little bit for myself or at least enough to get a set of Dakars for the 2nd gen. I HOPE!

Chloroform is wonderful stuff.

There is a guy here on TW who sells CNC cut plates for it. Order a set, chop the mounts and take it to a muffler shop and have them weld the plates on if you don't have a way to weld.

I did mine myself with a cutting wheel on a grinder, and some scrap metal I had laying around.

He was almost done with it last weekend, so I would assume so. I have been working in a no phone service area for the last two days, so I haven't had a chance to talk to him about it though. Going to get in touch with him tomorrow and see how it's coming along.

 

With the holidays I have been behind a bit. Tried taking a few days off to spend with my daughter who came up this past week. The replacement outer tie rod got here yesterday, so I should have it in today. Parts deliveries have been off on their shipping with Christmas.
