It depends on you goals and your budget. If you want to go off-road more than just a dirt road I'd suggest sliders first, then skids, then lift. I did lift first but I knew I would put on skids and sliders very soon. Even still I almost fubard my rockers a couple of times (@tweakit88 might have some advice on this subject). Lots of places run skid and slider sales around tax time. Also remember that it usually takes 8-12 weeks to get sliders....and that's after you pay.

Also, I'd expect to pay $1000-$1500 for top quality skids and sliders. A $1500 lift with tires is going to be "economy grade."

Also skids and sliders come up for sale used more often than lifts.

Did anybody else watch the supra commercial in the super bowl? I thought it was really good actually. I know a ton of folks are saying it's too much of a Porsche looking vehicle but I quite like it and think its gives a good nod back to the old supras. If I was buying a play car or had disposable income I'd sure as hell have one.

That things looks good. I see a clean 2nd gen every now and then that makes me wish I hadn’t gotten a 3rd gen. Mainly for the engine though

Its better looking, but its mostly a bimmer. The engine has even been detuned to have less power than its bmw conterpart. The shouldnt of called it a supra if they werent gunna build it from the ground up. Its a sweet car regardless, but its a major downgrade to the gen 4. Just my 2 cents

There’s just no comparing the interiors though. Exterior is personal choice. Interior no doubt better on 3rds.

 

Shocks are made to go through the entire stroke. You’re fine, ride may not be great, but it won’t harm anything.

 

I’d be willing to bet stock for stock new one sets better lap times.

 

@stronghammer got these tonight. Target price matches Amazon. Got them for 99 bucks vs the 199 they had them for.

 

Freaking sweet. Nice price match too. I love mine really great sound. Amy complains when I use them to call her that the mic is too sensitive and picks up everything but eh that's a minor complaint lol

 

I like them so far. We’ll see how they feel at the gym tomorrow. Can’t really complain for 100 bucks.
